FILE TYPE (SHAREPOINT)
A category given to files that had activity against them. For example: document, image, video. This offers a simple way to group files of similar type together so that you can spot analytical trends rather than activity broken down by the file extensiontype and file type is, an application that is uploaded as a .txt file. Content type would designate it as an application but the file type remains a document.
